This week the divers went against Vista Del Lago on their home turf. On the women’s side, our divers went 1,2,3 with Phifey Boyers leading the pack, followed by her sister Abby, and then Sydney Smith. The Vista Del Lago divers outnumbered us with 5 female divers on the team, but none of them outscored us. Abby Boyers set a personal best and had a beautiful performance.
On the men’s side, we walk into each meet with one of the top male divers in our area. Ethan Hindman once again took the first place finish. He is learning to compete during these dual meets, so when championships arrive he will have confidence to perform at the top of his game.
