SENIOR SPOTLIGHT- NICOLAS ALBERTO
This was Nicolas’ first year on the Track and Field team. As a first-time thrower, Alberto picked up shot put very quickly and learned the glide technique fairly early in the season. He threw a personal best 29’ 3” at Holy Spikes to place in the top-10 for varsity boys. While still learning the discus, he put in a lot of hard work to learn rotational movement and threw a personal best at Holy Spikes of 70’ 4” and placed in the top-10 for the meet. Nicolas is a great teammate. He is supportive and encouraging. Nicolas is known for his willingness to learn and his positive attitude. He showed a tremendous amount of potential this season. He would have set many new PRs this season.
CONGRATULATIONS NICOLAS!!!
