The Falcons took on the St. Marys Rams last Tuesday for their first preseason game. The team was unfortunetly not able to take the dub losing the game 1-0. the Falcons played great having multiple shots on goal but unfortunetly was not able to capitalize. Head Coach Hunley said on the game:" I just want to see how these guys respond, we had a lot of shots on goal but wa unble to put it in the back of the net, We know what we will be working on tommorow". Another notable athlete was Demonte Robinson '22 a three sport athlete(football, soccer, and baseball). talking about the match he had to say:" Our defense was there, our offense was there. It was just finishing, overall everyone is making passes and we look really good for our first time coming out". the falcons looked good this game having about 23 shots on goal. Zachary Hembd 23' was a main force for the falcons on defense." we definetly need more communication" said Hembd a Junior who was the main defender for the falcons." if we just keep making good slides and blocking shots, and communicating we will be very good. obviously the falcons have stuff to work on but definetly going to wreck some havoc on the field.
