While the outcome of 3-5-1 was not predicted or hoped for, Christian Brothers Men’s Soccer was able to have an abbreviated season to which the team is very grateful for. In such a trying time the team should be proud of staying resilient and competitive, and playing through the last whistle. The team this year was defensively strong, and played with intensity. Offensively, the team capitalized on a few moments, but ultimately had many chances to take control of games and set the tone that were missed. They had a great group this year, lead by their seniors who brung the energy to each of their games. Many of these seniors have been apart of the soccer program for all their high school career and have set the standard for excellence on and off the field. Their contributions will be missed as they continue on with their lives. Desmond Greer, Ben Delfino, Zach Santsche-Chavez, Tyler Valerio, Everett McAvoy-Jensen, Kenrick Dawson, Jose Regalado, Cole Hanna, and Antonio Jacobo, thank you for your dedication to this program, and for your leadership towards the underclassmen as they seek to build upon the season they had. Each of you set an example for everyone and have impacted this program. Christian Brothers Men’s Soccer will look to improve and dominate next season.
