The Men’s basketball team kicked off league play on Wednesday night against Capital Christian. The boys came into the game expecting a competitive game, as Capital Christian has been a powerhouse in the Capital Athletic League over the years. Led by Devin Johnson ‘22 and John Marengo ’22 on the offensive end and a team effort executing a solid 2-3 zone on defense, the boys ended the half leading by 2 points. Unfortunately, they could not hang on, as they were plagued by turnovers and second chance points, leading to a final score of 64-54. The boys look to bounce back this Friday, as they have another home game against Sac High at 7pm.
