After a emotional loss in the highly anticipated rivalry match up to Jesuit High School the previous week, CBHS Boys basketball took on the El Camino Eagles on the road this past Friday.
The Falcons were able to overcome a flurry of 3pt Field goals from the eagles in the 3rd quarter to edge out a 80-63 victory. After having Wednesday’s game postponed the falcons were eager to get back on the floor. The Falcons were led in scoring by senior, Dylan Delucchi '21 who had 20 points, in a efficient 9-12 from floor. Senior guard, Elijah Covington '21 also added in 18 while going a stellar 12-12 from the free throw line.
Other key contributors were seniors Michael Moreno '21 and Wesley Howell '21 who had 14 and 12 respectively. The Falcons have a tough week of competition ahead of them with games against Elk Grove' Vista Del Lago and St. Mary’s of Stockton.
