Tonight, our Falcons take on the Del Campo Cougars in their final league and regular season game of the year. Fighting through much adversity throughout the season, the Falcons look to end the regular season with a win and strong momentum heading into "The Big Dance". There's a couple key components that the Falcons will need to focus on in order to come out of this game victorious. The first thing is staying productive on the offensive side of the ball. The Falcons have been great at getting points on the board, allowing them to stay competitive in close games. A few contributors to this success were running backs Jackson Burleson('22) and DJ Crowther('22) holding it down on the ground game. Also, receivers Phillip Bell('25) and John Marengo('22) have been able to push the ball down the field consistently. Lastly, Quarterback Jake Elorduy('22) has been great at leading his team in crucial offensive possessions, putting the ball in great spots for his teammates to make a play.
Our defense who is anchored by Defensive End Landon Howard('23), Dusty Regino('23), and Cornerback Avante Lee ('22), look to shut down the cougars offense. Excited and motivated to play Del Campo as they hope to spoil their homecoming festivities. This Falcons defense is hungrier than ever before and can't wait for kickoff!
JV plays at 5 p.m. at Del Campo and Varsity will kickoff at 7 p.m. Finish strong boys!! Go Falcons!!
