On Saturday, our Falcons took on the CIF State Championship! For our varsity boys team, 6 out of 7 runners had personal bests for the 5k, and, led by Ryan Dong’s 27th place performance, finished 19th in the entire state! The varsity girls team did a little bit better, as 5 of the 7 beat their best 5k time, and, led by Elise Henderson and Elise Perkins, finished 18th in the entire state! This is a massive achievement for Christian Brothers Cross Country, as this is the first time both teams have finished in the top 20 since 2007! We congratulate the runners on an amazing season, and look forward to how well they’ll do next year!
