Women's Golf:
What a busy week we had last week! The Varsity team had two scrimmages, both on the road. Monday, we played Pleasant Grove at Rancho Murieta Country Club. Sophomore Hannah Stouder started off on fire with three early birdies and ended up shooting an even par 36 on a very difficult course with temperatures around 105 degrees. Senior Nicole Staggs shot a very nice 39. On Wednesday, we played Davis HS at Wildhorse Golf Course. Hannah led us once again with a 37, while senior Brie Briggs shot a 39 and sophomore Chloe Tam had a 45.
We welcomed our JV team on Tuesday and are extremely excited to have so many new girls in our program. We have a total of 11 JV players to go along with our 9 Varsity players. Our varsity girls did a great job of helping everyone feel a part of the family! We had some good practices and we had a total of 16 girls attend our first Strength and Conditioning session on Friday, thanks to great leadership from our veteran golfers.
